Government Relations Short Course

Successful Commercial Engagement with the Government of Canada

December 1 and December 8

The Canadian Government can be a valuable resource of business success – as a funding source or as a client. To maximize opportunities, insight into the inner workings of the Federal Government and an understanding where decisions are really made is essential. This interactive 6-hour course over 2-days is a high-level overview of the structure of the Federal Government, its agencies and departments, how they function and interact with one another and why. For additional insight the recently named Cabinet, its make-up and the history of the individuals appointed will also be discussed. Finally, a bespoke illustration of how to implement and apply the above knowledge to make it work in practice will be discussed in detail.
